The HGOE CeeBee Stars improved to 2-0 on the young Avalon East Senior Hockey League season Sunday night at the Southern Shore Arena in Mobile, defeating the Southern Shore Puglisevich Breakers 2-1. Lucas Goobie and Andrew Fenwick scored for the CeeBees, with A.J. Whiffen making 32 saves for the win. Stephen Oates replied for the home side, whose Devon O'Brien faced 36 shots. The Breakers are back in action on Monday night when they take on the St. John's Green Sleeves Caps at the Goulds Sports Arena. Puck drop is 8:30 p.m.
