Caps drop fourth straight, lose 6-3 to Eagles

(Nov. 28, 2016) -- Daniel Cadigan scored and assisted on two more and Mark Yetman stopped 50 shots as the Tapper's Northeast Eagles bested the St. John's Green Sleeves Caps 6-3 in Avalon East Senior Hockey League play Monday night. At Goulds Arena, Jason Picco and Mark Chaplin tallied once and picked up an assist for the Eagles (4-5-2, 10 pts), and singles came courtesy Chris Sparkes, Chris Mooney and Chris Thorne. Liam Myers and Bryan Clarke had two helpers apiece. Four of the Eagles' goals came on the power play. For the Caps (4-6-2, 10 pts), Mark Rideout had one and one, Brandon Fewer and Roger Pender also counted. Scott Bray saw 45 shots in net.
