The CWSHL have deducted 4 points from the Grand Falls Cataracts after it was discovered that the team used an ineligible player for two games during the weekend of January 13 and 14th. It has been determined that a player that was not on a HNL card appeared on the game sheet from Saturday Jan 13th and Sunday Jan 14th. Since the player was not on a card he was deemed ineligible. League rules say that a team using an ineligible player will forfeit any points acquired in those games. Grand Falls won both contests and accumulated the 4 points. Those games were against the St. John's Caps and Northeast Eagles who have been awarded a win and 2 points in the league standings.
