Caribou's return to home ice this week and are down 2-0 in the series to the Deer Lake Red Wings, Fans were treated to some great hockey on the West Coast this past weekend where Friday nights game went to Triple OT and the Redwings were victorius with a 3-2 final score, A quick turn around less than 24 hours afterwards teams were back on the ice again, The Red Wings struck first as dman Stephen Gillard got one past AJ Whiffen but in the second period Adam Dawe tied the game at 1 rather quickly only to have the Red Wings take the lead back shortly after, with many chances the Caribous just could not get one passed net minder Brian Gillis and the Red Wings add an empty net goal in the third to secure the win and a 2-0 series lead.
The action resumes this weekend as Caribou's return to home ice and look to even the series.
